Responsible Use Policy

1. Definitions

“Services” means all products, platforms, and financial services made available by Ernora Pay, including money remittance, foreign exchange, and payment processing services.

“User” means any customer, client, business partner, or end user who accesses or uses our services, whether directly or indirectly.

“Prohibited Activity” means any conduct, transaction, or use of Ernora Pay’s services that violates this Policy, our Terms and Conditions, applicable law, or regulatory requirements.

“Harmful Content” means any fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, unlawful, discriminatory, or otherwise improper material, communication, instruction, or transaction submitted, transmitted, or facilitated through our services.

“Regulatory Compliance” means compliance with applicable Canadian laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance, including requirements issued by FINTRAC and other competent authorities where relevant.

2. Acceptable Use

Users must use Ernora Pay’s services lawfully, honestly, and responsibly. By using our services, you agree to:

  • provide accurate, complete, and truthful information during onboarding, verification, and transactions;
  • use the services only for legitimate and lawful purposes;
  • comply with all applicable laws, regulations, sanctions requirements, and Ernora Pay internal policies;
  • promptly notify us of any suspected misuse, fraud, unauthorized access, or security concern related to your account or our services.

3. Prohibited Use

You must not use Ernora Pay’s services to engage in, support, assist, or facilitate any unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or prohibited activity, including but not limited to:

  • money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or other financial crime;
  • human trafficking, child exploitation, violent criminal activity, or exploitation of vulnerable persons;
  • sanctions evasion or transactions involving sanctioned countries, persons, or entities;
  • payments or activity connected with:
    • unlicensed gambling or gaming;
    • unregulated virtual asset activity, token sales, or unauthorized ICO-related activity;
    • pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit commercial content;
    • counterfeit goods, stolen property, or intellectual property infringement;
  • use of automated tools, scripts, bots, or similar systems to misuse the platform or gain unauthorized access;
  • concealing your identity, misrepresenting ownership, impersonating another person, or otherwise misleading Ernora Pay or third parties.

4. System and Network Security

Users must not attempt to:

  • probe, scan, test, or exploit the vulnerability of any Ernora Pay system, application, or network;
  • bypass authentication controls, access restrictions, or security protections;
  • interfere with, disrupt, overload, or impair the operation of Ernora Pay infrastructure or services;
  • upload, transmit, deploy, or introduce malware, viruses, malicious scripts, or other harmful code.

5. Enforcement and Reporting

Ernora Pay reserves the right to investigate any actual or suspected breach of this Policy and to take any action it considers appropriate, including:

  • immediate suspension, restriction, or termination of access to services;
  • refusal, blocking, or reversal of transactions where permitted;
  • reporting relevant matters to regulators, law enforcement, or other competent authorities;
  • taking legal action to recover losses, enforce rights, or prevent further harm.
